Membership and Frequencies

CHANNEL ALLOCATION POLICY

Channels will be allocated on a "First-Come" basis. Active members have priority to Channels. Active membership is defined by dues status. Members that are not current on membership dues by February 1 will lose active membership status and, if necessary, Channel assignment.

When the membership roster exceeds the available Channels, new members will be advised of the Channel restrictions, the allocation procedure, and directed to the club officer maintaining the Channel roster. The new member will be assigned Channels allocated to active members who are infrequent racers. The new member will be given the name and phone number of the member assigned the primary Channel and encouraged to contact that member. The club officer will also notify the same active member that his Channel is being shared by another member.

The new member will be encouraged to purchase more than one Channel crystal because the club's policy is that active members assigned primary Channels have exclusive rights to the Channel at all racing events.
Active members with a primary Channel assignments will be encouraged to cooperate with members utilizing their Channel at unofficial events.
